Race Relations: White Conservative Viewpoint on Hate Crimes.

We here on Race Lies see ourselves as Black Progressives, but we feel that in all fairness White Conservatives a soon to be Minority in America have the right to a perspective- The White Conservative Perspective. White Conservatives have a problem with the enforcement of hate crimes, because they see a slippery slope towards a nanny police state that goes as far as to prosecute "Thought Crimes." However, we propose the alternative view that hate crimes legislation comes from the result of oppression and hate. Without the hatred against women and minorities, you can't have the precedent for Homosexuals to become a protected class within America. Gays right now are riding on the coat-tails of civil rights provided from the sins of America's Racist and Sexist past and present.
