Rodney King 20 years later, and no change. Well there is change, but that change is a younger more violent generation (gen y) that were just babes when LA 92 occurred, and saw Rioting at an early age. We young Black and Latino kids in 1992 saw how our elders reacted to the Rodney King verdict in over 120 Communities in North America with incidences of Rioting, Looting, Protests, sit-ins, etc.. To be quite honest, this formulated into our young minds that Rioting, Civil Disobedience, and Chaos is Cool.

This of course was in an era before Facebook, Twitter, and Blogs like ours. In a different era you can have LA style Riots anywhere- even in small towns in Middle America where there's areas of town full of poor and disgruntled people.

Juan Crow is the systematic practice of Racism and Discrimination against Latinos in America. Arizona is most definitely a Juan Crow state.
